Our Story

We are two Californian natives with a shared dream of retiring in the captivating land of Italy. Our frequent visits to this enchanting country left an indelible mark on us, with its rich cultural heritage, breathtaking natural beauty, and serene historic towns. Not to mention, the allure of comparatively affordable real estate prices was undeniable. As the US to EURO conversion rates favored us, and the Italian real estate market became a buyer's haven amid the pandemic, we saw the opportune moment to take the plunge.

However, our journey was not without its hurdles. The process of finding a home in a foreign land posed unique challenges, given the unfamiliar procedures and the language barrier. In Italy, the absence of buyer's agents and the differing requirements left us perplexed, as they deviated from what we were accustomed to in the US.

Our turning point came when we discovered an English-speaking Italian real estate agent well-versed in the intricacies of working with foreign buyers. Yet, even with this guidance, many aspects remained perplexing. It was during this experience that we yearned for a service tailored to streamline this process specifically for foreigners, especially fellow Americans like us.

As busy individuals with limited time for exhaustive research and multiple trips to Italy, we empathized with the challenges faced by others in our situation. Nevertheless, we persevered through the process and now proudly own a penthouse overlooking the mesmerizing Lake Maggiore.
